It is one thing to have a hurricane plan. It is yet another to have a plan that is executable.
There were plans in place in New Orleans before Katrina.
There were plans in place before Andrew in 1992 in Miami and the Labor Day Hurricane in 1935 in the Florida Keys.
And there have been countless plans in place for other hurricanes. Unfortunately, many times these are only plans on paper or in someone’s mind that can’t be executed.
Make sure that you can execute your plan if need be.
